The three parts
PART 1 (4–5 min) — Introduction and questions about familiar topics: home, work, studies, hobbies. PART 2 (3–4 min) — You get a cue card, 1 minute to prepare, then speak for 1–2 minutes. PART 3 (4–5 min) — A two-way discussion of more abstract ideas linked to the Part 2 topic.
